A letter from Informatica CEO Amit Walia

Our customers, partners and employees are our top priority and everyone’s health and safety is paramount. At Informatica, all of our employees around the world have been strongly encouraged to work from home, and we have shifted all of our in-person events to virtual events, including the upcoming Informatica World.

To Informatica’s Valued Customers and Partners,

As we all adjust to meet the unprecedented challenges of COVID-19, Informatica is committed to providing continuity of high-quality support and service to our customers and partners around the globe. I want to update you on how we are managing our business to serve you and support the Informatica employees who work to help your business succeed.

Informatica has an established Business Continuity Program that includes plans, procedures, roles, responsibilities and activities to ensure a timely, effective, and orderly response to any disruption of critical business services. At this time, the COVID-19 situation has not affected our ability to deliver cloud services or provide Global Customer Support & Professional Services. Our rich collaboration tools, follow-the-sun approach and global follow-the-sun staffing strategy enables us to safely sustain support levels whether our teams are working in an office or remotely.

We continue to be vigilant and cautious about this evolving situation and are taking the following measures:

Informatica’s Internal Preventative Measures

  • Informatica employees who have travelled through high risk countries (or who have household members who have traveled) are required to work from home for 14 days. This applies to all employees, in all locations.
  • All Informatica offices are implementing strict vendor and supplier protocols for all onsite engagements. Vendors and suppliers coming on-site to Informatica offices, are being screened to confirm they are not exhibiting symptoms, have no suspicion that they have been exposed to COVID-19 and have not recently traveled to, through or from high-risk countries.
  • In the short term, video conferencing is our first choice instead of travel for all meetings. We are encouraging our employees to make use of our comprehensive IT collaboration tools that already enable us to conduct business from any location.
  • We have cancelled all non-essential business travel (e.g., internal meetings) until further notice.
  • Informatica employees will not undertake business travel to, through or from any high or medium-risk country, even for customer or partner meetings. Any requested exceptions for medium-risk countries, will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
  • We are continually evaluating upcoming Informatica-hosted events on an event-by-event basis. Additional information on our events guidelines can be found here.

Again, thank you so much for your support as we work through this situation. Our customers, partners and employees are our highest priority, so please do not hesitate to reach out to us should you have additional questions.
